The festival slogan Z… is for Zagreb, designed by film scientist and critic Ron Holloway, says a lot about the connection between Zagreb and Animafest, making both the city and the festival recognisable all across the globe. Taking place at numerous locations around Zagreb, festival breathes with the city where it was born. For this year’s Animafest Zagreb, we created a distinctive finishing detail for a book celebrating the festival: custom sprayed edges that extend its visual identity beyond the page. The sprayed edges become part of the book’s identity - complementing the printed artwork while making the object itself more memorable.
