For the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb, we produced a map accompanied by a series of postcards dedicated to one of the theatre’s most fascinating collections – its historic stage curtains. Since the Renaissance, stage curtains have been among the most captivating elements of theatre interiors, serving not only as functional objects but also as monumental works of art. Throughout its history, the Croatian National Theatre in Zagreb has assembled an extraordinary collection consisting of one iron curtain and seven painted curtains.
